First floor of the primary school contains locker room, teacher’s’ offices, it classroom, afterschool centre, and toilets. Three classrooms, headmaster’s office, and toilets are in the second floor. The building is designed using Xella building system. The external load–bearing walls, slabs, and internal non–bearing walls are made of aerated concrete blocks. The internal load–bearing are made of lime–sand blocks. The building is insulated with non–fibrous mineral panels. The project includes design of lightning, HVAC, DHW, and photovoltaics systems. The project also includes a study of three structural details including 3D models in BIM software and their thermal assessment. The project was designed using BIM software Revit.
Apartment building
Herůdek, Pavel ; Nespěšný, Ondřej (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The subject of bachelor thesis, is a design of new apartment building in range of Construction Object – Apartment building and elaboration of the desing documentation for construction. The buildign is placed in eastern edge in Brno in the district Brno - Líšeň, on a sloping terrain. Apartment building is designed with four floors and underground floor with technical background. The apartment building contains eight apartments, on each floor two apartments. On the top floor are designed two apartments with terrace. There is established a wheelchair access to the building. In the building is desinged a elevator. Construciton of vertical supporting are made of ceramic block Porotherm. The vertical strucutres are made of reinforced concrete cast-in-place ceiling. Roofing is designed as double skin flat roof. The building is based on concrete foundation strips. Nearby the Apartment building is placed a carpark with sufficient parking places. The apartment building is designed as nearly zero-energy building. That has been achieved by heat recovery system on ventilation system and parameters of building envelope.
Apartment building
Vaněk, Vojtěch ; Nespěšný, Ondřej (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is to design and develop design documentation for a new apartment building with almost zero energy consumption in construction. The apartment house is located in the Krasice district in Prostějov. Krasice is a quiet area with surrounding buildings with dominant apartment buildings and a larger area with row houses for families. The building has four floors and partial basement. There are a total of six dwelling units on the upper floors and separate garages for each apartment on the first floor. The building has a primary staircase around the elevator. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from brick blocks "THERM" with an external thermal insulation system. All horizontal load-bearing structures and vertical basement walls are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building foundations consist of cast-in-place smooth concrete strips.
Kindergarten
Frieb, Vilém ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master project is to design a nearly zero-energy building of kindergarten. The kindergarten is designed as one storey building with capacity of 40 children split into two playrooms. Playrooms are separated and each of them has own sanitary facilities and locker room. Playrooms have large windows with external blinds on the south to provide solar gains. There is horizontal sun breaker above the windows which prevent overheating in summer. Load bearing walls are made of sand lime blocks. Walls are insulated with mineral wool board. Roof ceiling is made of prestressed concrete slabs. The building has a flat extensive green roof. The second task of the project includes design of lighting, rainwater harvesting, HVAC, source of heat and photovoltaic system. The third part is theoretical and includes searching for an ideal source of energy for the building. There are two types of heating compared such as gas boiler and a groundwater heating pump. The main software used for the project is Revit.
The Block of Flats
Paleček, Martin ; Hnízdilová, Aneta Aya (referee) ; Manychová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis solves new apartment buildings with nearly zero-energy consumption for housing in the suburb of the capital city of Prague. It is a detached, partially basement apartment building of a rectangular shape with one underground and two above-ground floors with a residential attic in the form of a maisonette, placed in sloping terrain. In the basement there is a technical background and cellar for all housing units, in the upper floors, there are four housing units. The construction system of the building is wall-like, two-way, made of ceramic blocks. Horizontal structures are folded from ceramic blocks. The roof structure is designed as a wooden gable roof with ceramic roof tile. The building has parking spaces and gardens for residents of the house. The work contains project documentation for the construction.
Apartment house Proluka in Olomouc
Přidal, Petr ; Šteffek, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The task of the bachelor thesis was to process the documentation for the new apartment building with almost zero energy consumption. The apartment building is located in Olomouc, in a terraced development, in the gap site. The building is oriented to the northeast and southwest. The apartment building is designed as a basement with four floors. In the basement, there are three separate garages, storage rooms, and rooms for the technical operation of the building. A total of eight residential units are designed on the upper floors. Each apartment has a balcony or terrace. Barrier-free vertical transport is provided by an elevator located in the mirror of the staircase. The building is based on a reinforced concrete foundation slab. The vertical structures are made of sand-lime masonry. Horizontal load-bearing structures are reinforced concrete monolithic. The roof of the building is the gable. The apartment house is insulated with mineral wool insulation.
Heating of kindergarten
Železná, Karolína ; Komínek, Petr (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis is a nursery school heating system design. The first, theoretical part, introduces the topic of underfloor heating. The computational part describes the design of a low-temperature heating system combining radiators and water underfloor heating, the design of a hot water preparation and other necessary equipment. Two air/water heat pumps are designated as energy sources. Ventilation is mechanical by air conditioning unit. The school is designed as a nearly zero-energy building.
Environmental solution of administrative building in Hodonín
Snášel, Michal ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to design a seven-storey office building in Hodonín, Czechia. The building has retail spaces in the basement and first floor and offices in second to sixth floors and utility room and elevator engine room in the seventh floor. Individual floors are accessible via stairs and elevator. The vertical load-bearing structure consists of reinforced concrete walls and columns. Horizontal load-bearing structure consists of cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The roof is flat with photovoltaic power plant connected to main battery. The main source of heating energy for the building is a heat pump (air-water) backed by a secondary electric boiler. Fresh air is supplied by a HVAC unit installed on the roof. Overheating due to solar heat gains and equipment is mitigated by local AC ceiling units. Automated roller blinds reacting to solar gains and glare are installed over the windows. The next part of thesis consists of comparison of pressure properties of sheet metal duct and CLIMAVER system.
Apartment building
